That area of the US & Canada tends to have moderate temps, so I believe only like 20-30% of the people have A/C. Tracy, which was just over the Alta Mont from Livermore (that hilly region with a bunch of windmills). I lived in Tracy nearly 18 years, then Sacramento for nearly 10 more. I no longer live in California, but the Tracy and Sacramento area has a special place to me. Its home no matter how far I go. So does the Bay Area.
