with the double 's'? (edit: nevermind. cyrillic to latin probably leaves enough room for error/improvisation.) Medusa has been part of jellyfish taxonomy for a while, and the casual association goes back longer than that.

lol. i was only missing 6 out of the first 14 posts in that topic. but the TC was not who i was expecting. I'm guessing that's gwwak's latest. he's always been a bit salty about being blocked, but i can't remember seeing him call out anyone else by name before. I figured it had to be one of VM's. He gets truly bothered by me not wanting anything to do with him..

I don't start arguments, pretty much as a rule. topics like this are as close as I ever come, and even then they're exceedingly rare and, at least from my perspective, lighthearted ribbing rather than actual trolling.

a year or two ago, i stopped marking anything, in response to comments made by a certain salty moderator. instead, i simply started blocking anyone who i would have otherwise expected to receive serious consequences from a quality staff.

and I couldn't be happier with that decision. though, i do sometimes regret that other people might need to pick up the slack from my absence in certain topics.

Im definitely on my way to doing just that. Some of the crap that gets slung here is just terrible. Following the news exposes me to more than enough hate.

I don't know who that moderator is but I am familiar with their attitude and... enthusiasm of moderating based on personal long-time grudges rather than moderation history. I'm guessing you got comments similar to ones I got in a bullshit unwarranted suspension earlier this year.

And in response to an earlier post of yours in this topic, gwwak really hates the block feature, so he gets very up-in-arms anytime anyone uses it, even when he isn't the one being blocked. I personally don't like the feature either, so I understand his frustration, but I don't hold anything against people who utilize it. Each to their own.

very true, but it's usually just general ranting about echo chambers any time the topic comes up. maybe a shitpost in someone's memorial topic. this is the first time i can remember seeing him start a thread to whine about someone, but i admit, i never see his posts for very long =p
