It says its around $5000 to get both eyes done. My eyesight isnt that bad, but I require glasses to drive and I cant really see the TV without them. Its really starting to irritate me having to wear glasses and I dont want to use contacts.

I dont care for the price, but I do have the money. Is it worth it? By that, I mean does it actually work?

Doesnt it degrade your night vision? If it does, I cannot see how it would be worth it.

I heard that they cut open your eye kinda. Like slice the top of it off and then fire off some lasers into your eye and put the slice back on. I wouldnt care if you were asleep during this but they do it while youre awake right? >.>

What happens to the flap on your eye afterwards? Its kinda just sitting there on your eye. Can it fall out? What if youre blinking and it folds in half while still on your eye? Does it ever heal?

I just did a search and it suggested about $2,200 per eye, plus extra charges for random stuff. I rounded up, but I would still pay if it gave me perfect vision. Probably best to pay extra and make sure they do it right.

I got it 5 years ago and it was worth every penny. I was blind as hell before and have had no problems since.

I did have a bad case of dry eyes for about a month after, but that went away and hasnt come back.

I've heard from plenty of people that it's totally worth it. I plan to get it eventually but my prescription still seems to get a little stronger every year so who knows when that will be

The cut flap wont fall out lol, but you do need to keep your eyes protected until they're healed.

Im seeing professional clinics actually saying that rare complications can actually make your eyesight worst and that people with my eyesight are often better off not taking the risk.

That sucks, but it could be worse.

Yeah, I wasn't eligible because I've got Keratoconus. Do you also have an eye disease?

Not that Im aware of. I went into a pretty nice optometry office last November and they said that I am doing pretty well. My prescription actually barely changed in like five or seven years. They would have probably noticed something.

That's true for any eye operation. So always suggested that you try to adapt to your vision before choosing surgery only opt for surgery when the situation is unbearable.

I had two relatives who had eye operations not lasik but cataracts and corneal. For one of them it turned her from legally blind to 20/20 vision. The other one had complications and the situation got worse. Same surgeon and everything.

It'll probably be fine for you but be aware of the risks. I'd just get contacts.

Brother has halo effect at night, mainly in one eye. I think dry eyes went away.

This. Got it 8 years ago. Best 4k spent. I and a 1 year warranty and a lifetime one as well for touch ups.

But I have to say they were not fond of me coming back, cause i reckon they were losing money.

my eyes were 20/25 after my surgery, but I got a touch up on my left eye after and it's been 20/20 at least. My right eye has gotten a little worse. I tried doing a touch up for it back in Feb 2020, but they were like, "it's good to be nearsighted in one eye, but it's up to you!" Fucking paid that 100 eye exam though.

I hate wearing contacts and have been considering LASIK, but I had pretty bad eye complications so I'm not sure if it's still possible. Left eye had a detached retina and right eye had a torn retina, and I had laser surgery to correct that :<

You could schedule a appointment and consult with the expects in regards to weather you're fit or not. At worst their just say you aren't.
