Me, I'm in a great relationship with a fantastically loving and affirming lady, I'm going to file the docs for my name change Monday, and will be taking a Masters-level social work course in the Fall as a visiting student to bolster my case for being admitted to a program. So, how's it going?

It's going terribly and I can't see anything but more suffering in the future.

I've definitely been there. I still go there sometimes, even. These are terribly distressing times.

Jeez, I read your post and I guess we all should all be grateful its mild. Mild sounds quite awful enough already!

I have a friend who hurt her lower back at work years ago. Her team leader just handed her a ~40ish lb. box of fish unexpectedly and she caught it low. She carried it to a cart, put the box down, and immediately realized something was very wrong. Shes been dealing with it ever since, and only recently became able to walk without a cane again, a good 2 1/2 years later. Any chronic back thing is just seems like a complete fucking nightmare.

Found out I can still inexplicably have some semblance of gymnastic ability.
I think it's the same as riding a bicycle. When you're younger you're dumb enough to assume you can just throw yourself at it and you'll get it eventually.
I assume I can't do a backflip because I didn't learn it back then and now every sense is screaming at me that if I attempt this it'll go horribly wrong.

Yeah..uhhh...def don't just do a back flip randomly. Maybe into a pool or something?

I'm wanting to get into coding or tech and get a better job and learn Japanese. I could do a lot more of what I want. I got to finish moving in my new apartment first. I really would like to get another job anyways as well as find a girlfriend.

It certainly is. Though I went with my parents, so having 1 adult per child helps when every kid wants to do different things.

Now's a bad time. I've been impatient to see this woman again after we had our third date this past Monday, which went very, very well. We had plans for tomorrow night, we were gonna watch a movie at her place, and I've been really looking forward to it all week. Tonight she texted me to say she'll have to cancel, she's feeling "super socially drained and needs to take a break."

Obviously I understand, and I'm not gonna push things, but my anxiety is through the roof about it right now.

The last week has been kinda stressful; I'm coming up on the end of my contract at work, and not wanting to commit for another full year at my current job, but also being worried about my ability to find a different one. My boss offered a six month contract today, and I'm probably going to take that, and hopefully I can use this time to burnish my resume (really knuckle down on learning to code).

It's fine.

Im doing really well. I got a big raise. I got some new tattoos. I started taking my progesterone rectally and my boobies have been filling out a lot more and my booty is getting more shapely. Dealing with some existential anxiety of course with this shit hole country and it feels like its taking a really long time to hear back on my name change petition since the dispute period closed at the end of June, but all in all Im extremely pleased with how the transition and other areas in my life are going.

I am meeting with my boss this Tuesday for what may be some changes to my job (in a good way). I just finished up a run through RE4 (hadn't played since the Wii version I think). Also watching Ducktales (up to Season 2).

My niece is getting into games, too, so Uncle Cyric has been handling lots of important questions such as "can I make sure my daughter isn't messaged by weird people in the games" and "what games have local multiplayer".

Yeah, that's a perfectly acceptable reason, but the beginning of a relationship is always stressful. I think when I was first messaging the woman I dated now, there was a stretch of like 3-4 days where she didn't get back to me and I had started looking through profiles in earnest again, but it just turned out that she was busy.

Yeah, I think you have the right idea. Brush up your coding, tool up your resume, and try to have a new one ready when your contract is up.

Progestorone really is magic. My thighs are hella thick now and my breasts really took off because of it. Plus it helps promote erectile function, if you're into that.

So, you get to be the cool uncle who introduces her to the world of gaming, eh? Sounds fun! Wish my sister would hurry up and have some kids so I can be an aunt.

I just finished reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. I didn't find it mindblowing or especially illuminating, but it is cool to get such an intimate look into how he organized his world and how he sought to handle his affairs. A little window into the mind of a man dead for almost two millennia now. I have a lot I could read next but as of yet am undecided.

Going pretty well. I'm working on getting my BSIT degree online. Off to a good start there. And I have a third date tomorrow, so that will be fun. I'm trying not to put all of my eggs in one basket, but I feel like things have been going well.

She had delayed due to gastrointestinal distress and dismissed me a bit early because she didn't want me to be around if she had trouble with her dinner her diet is insanely specific, I won't get into it and she just said good-bye, then stopped and added, "I mean, I don't think it's like we'll never see each other again, right?" That was a good four months ago now.

I hope date #3 goes great.

She's got a lot wrong with that little body of hers, unfortunately. But she's crazy smart and warm and affirming. She told me she had a dream about me recently and that I spoke to her "in the most beautifully feminine voice" my actual voice has come a long way but it's nowhere close to that lol.
Plus, you know...she's hot.
