I was really disappointed. I love Sam Raimi, but the film was an absolute mess.

I like Sam Raimi's movies, I like Benedict Cumberbatch as Strange, and I like Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda, but none of this movie worked, for me.

I'm still a little shocked they made a movie called "multiverse of madness" and barely had 2 universes.

I liked it but they should've let him go full horror and ham with it.

The MCU can have an R rated movie.

The pacing and editing kinda reminded me of TROS. It was barely 2 hours and they were flying through scenes and situations, but I thought it was still hella entertaining.

Outside of the 30 seconds of them falling through WAY COOLER UNIVERSES, we basically saw our universe and a slightly different version of our universe.

Elizabeth Olsen is my woman, though. hnnggghh

I was fine with it.

Some of you guys really need to harden up.

It was entertaining but i stopped trying to follow their logic. They just do.

I feel like Feige is saving up the truly awesome multiverse stuff for whatever the Phase 4/5 "Endgame" movie will be. It's too bad, as I wanted to see 15 version of Dr. Strange fighting each other.

Why would they? These are kids films. Its like people wondering why there are no sex scenes in Doctor Who. Bro, once you start pondering those things, youre no longer the target audience.

Im the top 5 MCU movies for sure. Much better than Dr. Strange 1.

Yes that movie actually delivers on the multiverse concept instead of just showing us two similar universes

It was just wasted potential. It honestly felt like Sam Raimi directed some parts of the movie (the horror parts) while a different generic MCU director did the other parts. Sure some of the horror parts and set pieces made no sense, but it made the movie different and stand out from the MCU crowd. I also think it was a mistake to name the movie "Multiverse of Madness" because then it gives a expectation that they're going to do something crazy with the Multiverse. Nope, it does exactly as you expect from any other movie that tackles the multiverse. Those cool cameos you heard about or saw in the trailer? Exposition and fodder. You have a cool character that can create literal portals to other multiverse's? Give her no personality and make her a literal walking plot device. Remember when Wanda had character development in the show? Let's flush it down the drain and give her a crappy motivation to be bad because we need a villain in the movie.

Really, the only good parts of the movie was the Sam Raimi'isms. Everything else was dumb. I just think Sam Raimi was given a bad script to work with and did the best he could with a bad hand. With that said, it's still above the MCU average films but no way I can call this a good movie. Watch Spiderverse or Everything Everywhere All At Once for examples of good multiverse movies.

I live in that universe.

As someone who's not a huge Marvel movie fan I actually thought MoM was awesome. After Infinity War and GOTG it's probably the most enjoyable Marvel movie I've watched.

The part where she fucks up those guys who were with Professor Xavier was hilarious.
