Knowing that for me to get into Univerisity can take about 1 year or 3 years depending if 2 A Level is enough or not is annoying.
The only thing I can do is study as hard as I can do, but there is nothing I can do to speed it up.

I know when the time comes for University, I have to leave my job, seeing that I would have to go to another country to study computer related course.

I hope I can pass my 2 A Level in 2023, I hope to get Grade A.

I just hate how I am getting older, yet I still haven't gone to University yet. I can imagine getting a degree would help a lot in getting a high paid job.

I just hate how slow it is going.

33 years old.

Best case scenario I will be 34 years old when I can go to University, assuming 2 A Level are enough. Worst case Scenario would be 36+.

What is 2 A level?

You could also explore going to university in a different country if the wait time/politics/cost/ whatever are just bs.

Normally to go into University about 5 GCSE and 2 A Levels or more are required. That is how it works if I go to UK to study.
I only have the 5 GCSE, but no A Level at the moment.

Hey, you're a mature student -- UK universities don't need the same qualifications if you're a Mature Student. Look it up. You could also go the route of a Foundation Year, which leads to a Three Years.

So I can get into University by applying for Foundation Year. Will not having A Level or level little A Level have hinder me in anyway?

(I can't believe I said went instead of want).

Going to uni when you're 60 is one thing but 30s is pretty awkward imo

I will be doing it

Anyway... @supermichael11

Check out mature student requirements for the schools you want to go to. They might be totally different...

Which A Levels are you taking? What university course do you want to do? When I was applying to universities in the UK, they all wanted 3 A Levels, not 2

I will check later when I am home. Let's assume I can get accepted, will it affect me not having A Levels or little A Level?

ICT and Business Studies A Level I am doing.
So University wants A Level if they are not mature students.

My original plan was to do Maths also, but that was too much.

You might not even need A Levels to get in, but I'm not 100% sure. For Canadian students they only look at your HS classes, there is no comprehensive like an SAT or an A Level

So even as a mature student I would need 3 A Level. So that means I won't be able to go until my 36.

For these GCSE subject I got these grades:

English C grade
Spanish C grade
ICT C grade
Business Studies C grade
Maths 4 grade

You could always try to do some uni in your country then transfer, or do graduate school somewhere else. But I'm sure you've already considered most options.

In my country there is only 1 University, they don't offer anything relating to computer degree at all.
I tried checking and speaking with them, but no luck.

Before there was no university, so people had to go to UK to study.

I can do this, when I go to the gym and do cardio by doing bicycle I can also study with my phone. I can watch video and listen on subject related to ICT and Business Studies. Normally I do 1 hour or more bicycle.

When I have free time, I can study hard.

I still need to work on not getting pissed of at myself, although I have got better with that.

It would be good when the day comes that I can create a thread saying I am in University.

Where do you live? If you're some sort of deal then the requirements will be very different, than just coming as an international student.

"Mature students: university and funding:
You can study at university as a mature student even if you do not have traditional qualifications. You can also apply for funding."
https://www.gov.uk/mature-student-university-funding

Most universities will accept non-traditional qualifications, or none at all for Mature Students (If the UK is their home).

For example, at Middlesex University:

"Overview
The Foundation Year in Computing and Engineering is offered as an entry route to a computing or design engineering degree for students who don't yet meet the entry requirements for degree-level study. You enrol on a four-year course, which includes the one-year foundation course."

Have you spoken to anyone or looked into entry requirements for university in the UK? You seem really confused about this. Can you talk to your teachers for guidance? I'd also recommend doing some of your own research. Some of the people in this topic have good suggestions.

When you're 16 in the UK, you've achieved your GSCEs. You then become more specialised and choose 4 subjects, and when you're 17 you drop one of those subjects (usually), and concentrate on three A2 Levels. Those three subjects become A-Levels (AS + A2 Levels), and that one subject you drop at 17 is an AS Level.

Instead of a Transcript (with courses taken, Grades earned, and GPA) along with a High School Diploma, proving you finished... In the UK each GSCE course (e.g. English, Mathematics, etc...) has a grade (and no where cares about your cumulative grades) from 1-9 (9 being the highest, and 1 being the lowest) on an individual certificate for each course you did. You also finish your GSCEs at 16, instead of 18.
Then when you're 16, you choose four subjects, that you wish to study (specialise in) for the next two years - such as Biology, Chemistry, Computing Science, etc... -- you drop one at 17 (and this becomes an AS-Level, scored A-G on an individual certificate) and concentrate on 3 subjects at 17, which become A Level (AS + A2) at 18, and are again scored like AS-Levels on an A-G scale (A being the highest), and you get a certificate for each course taken and passed.
