It was a dark and stormy night, and Sarah has just finished her last shift at the Sugar Hut. Her boss Dave greeted her at the back door. Dave was an older man, in his late 60s. He had a military haircut with a thick mustache and dark rimmed glasses. His personality matched his worn out attire barely holding together after the years of service. He smiled at her and reached into his pocket pulling out an envelope. "Last one for the road" he muttered while trying to cover his mouth with his forearm. Dave had become sickly the past couple years.. Sarah took the envelope from his hands, and slowly opened it up revealing a cheque with a large sum of money printed on it. "What is..." She couldn't finish the words before he reached his finger over her lips. "You always were my best employee, I don't have much time left, so rather than try to run this hell hole, I sold it. I took out what I needed, you can have the rest. Put it to good use, you have a kid now, and with Smackems out of the picture, you need to make sure that the two of you are looked after. It should be enough to pay your bills for the next couple years, so make sure you make the most of it. Get an education, open a restaurant.... something... your smart, you'll figure it out" Before she could mutter a word, Dave pushed her out of the store and locked the door. She knocked rigorously at the door, trying to get his attention. With one last smile, he pulled the shutters closed. It had been raining that night. Pools of water had formed on the parking lot as the parking lot street lights turned on for the first time. A shimmer of brightness reflected illuminating the parking lot. After a brief moment, Sarah made her way to her old 1992 Sedan. It's paint had seen better days, and big chunks of rust lined the doors and wheel bearings. The drivers side door had trouble opening, and a loud creaking sound echoed throughout the parking lot as she struggled to open it. After what seemed to be about a minute, the door finally opened. She placed her bags and the cheque on the passengers seat, and breathed a sigh of relief. Her struggles were finally over.... Putting the key inside the ignition, again it took some time but the car finally started. "My life is finally about to get a little easier". She put the car into drive and made her way out of the parking lot. A loud bang roared throughout the night. A click sound is heard behind the nearby dumpster. As the moon casts its light, a hooded figure appears from behind it. The figure reaches down and picks a cell phone off the ground. "Sorry.... Dave's not here man....". The hooded figure turns around and gets into a dark green truck. It tosses a large case and a bag on the back seat. Adjusting the rearview mirror Smackems face comes into alignment. "Shouldn't have ran....". He starts to laugh as he drives off. A loud thud is heard from behind him. "Dammit old man, your more trouble than your worth". The camera pans to the back seat where we see the severed head of Dave rolling around, staining everything he touches. So yeah, went a little dark on that one. LOL. As the moon casts its light, a hooded figure appears from behind it. The figure reaches down and picks a cell phone off the ground. "Sorry.... Dave's not here man....". The hooded figure turns around and gets into a dark green truck. It tosses a large case and a bag on the back seat. Adjusting the rearview mirror Smackems face comes into alignment. "Shouldn't have ran....". He starts to laugh as he drives off. A loud thud is heard from behind him. "Dammit old man, your more trouble than your worth". The camera pans to the back seat where we see the severed head of Dave rolling around, staining everything he touches. So yeah, went a little dark on that one. LOL. I didn't think I was decent at it, but apparently one woman I've met is obsessed with it. But she's also got a ridiculously high sex drive, so that might be the reason why. We don't see each other much as she lives like 5 hours away from my home, but she keeps coming back every few months, I mentioned that I needed to lose weight in a text, and she said she would do the same. I haven't lost a pound because of personal issues popping up preventing me from working out as much as I wanted to, but she's down 70 lbs. Mind you, she started at 340, so she's still big at 270, but its not bad for 6 months of work.
