Rosso the Crimson and Azul the Cerulean (...ugh...Red the Red and Blue the Blue) immediately spring to mind. Dirge of Cerberus singlehandedly killed my interest in delving deeper into the FF7 lore beyond the original game.

That one recurring chocobo knight in FF 10 is a special kind of grating. Not even being a tan redhead hottie could redeem her (also, giving zero explanation as to why she didn't get wiped out along with the rest of the ground forces during Operation Mi'ihen always irked me).
