The battles leading up to those all out attacks that give that transition to the initiating character having a victory portrait and then leading into that victory music just has such a cool vibe and flow to it.

Even the menus in this game are stylish.

Most stylish JRPG may not be giving it enough credit.

Thinking about it there aren't that many games that have this ultra stylish and cool vibe to them. Maybe Bayonetta?

Naw, I didn't like the menu, the overly extreme and exaggerated fonts and box borders.

yep. you can tell how good they did because few people have even attempted to ape it. p5 was just too inspired with its ui

Persona 5's UI actually influenced the UI of Smash Ultimate.

Thinking back to Catherine that really was the bridge between Persona 4 and 5. A lot of the style from that game carried over to 5. Especially with all the coffee and caf vibes that channeled the alcohol and bar vibes from Catherine. There's someone in Atlus that really enjoys the city life and really knows how to tap into that with these games.

I think so. All of the examples that I can think of that are similar are still Japanese as well.

I never said it was. I was talking about games in general by that point.

When I think of stylish jrpgs the literal only ones that come to my mind are Persona 5 and The World Ends With You.

I feel like TWEWY had stylish characters whereas P5R was stylish itself

The Devil May Cry games are similar to Bayonetta in that they're based around stylish combat.

oh definitely! the game oozes with style!

I can think of a few niche ones and some of those never got localized at all. But yes, in general as far as having a very distinct and in your face style it is up there for sure.
