My mom caught it twice. She's still living her life how she did before. Hope yours has the same experience.

It is still dangerous. They've given up naming new variants and have settled for downplaying it by repeatedly using phrases like the newest mutation of the Omicron variant repeatedly. There's a chance it's even more dangerous then before since everyone's been giving it free rein to spread and mutate as it pleases.

It's really fucked up when you sit down and put it in perspective. Which is exactly what you do when you catch it. Well, some do.

if vaccinated/boosted. still dangerous but not as much as someone without the shots.
symptoms could vary upon the individual.

on one night i had night sweats that soaked my shirt. wish i could sleep good but haven't since i gotten sick.

have to deal with tourist season for a few more months then i'll be in the clear.

The vaccine helps, but we are dealing with new strands, so it may not be as effective as it was in the past.

I'm currently in Panama City beach right now. My mother in law got a nice bonus and we all chipped in to get a luxury house on the beach.

On the first day my Wife's step dad had covid and now half of us have it or have gotten over it. At least we have a nice view of the ocean.
