Don't spam the attack button. Wait for openings and slash once or twice. Work on parries. Posture damage>actual damage --- You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. -Misattributed to CS Lewis ... Copied to Clipboard!

Make sure to learn and practice your parry, dodge, and mikiri counter and get good with all of it. Also, know that most, if not all minibosses can be stealth killed for one life. It'll help a lot. --- I do drawings and stuff https://www.fiverr.com/blueblitz ... Copied to Clipboard!

Learn the audio cues of the block/parry system and how to use them. When you slightly mistime a parry, you will block the attack. This will make a "cling" sound. Keep trying to correctly time the parry. Once you do, you'll hear a "clang" sound. This is your chance to attack the enemy. The enemy will try to block/parry your attacks, but as long as you only hear "cling" sounds, you can keep attacking. Once you hear the "clang", however, the enemy has parried you and will now counterattack, so you should stop attacking and go back to parrying. --- 96065 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Oh and unlike most souls games and action games, running/sprinting away from attacks is a very safe play. Sekiro moves so fast, its incredibly useful. Just keep in mind it wont work all the time and you will have to parry, dodge, or jump over some attacks ... Copied to Clipboard!
