just withhold all federal aid/funds, and when the next calamity occurs (which shouldn't take long, considering this is the darkest timeline), just force them to give people basic human rights in exchange for help.

This is like that time @SwayM invented Air Pods.

I'd imagine said ship couldn't dock easily with Texas/Louisiana/Mississippi/Alabama so it'd have to sit out and other ships would have to transfer people out to the ship.

Also the South can be petty as fuck and I could see them creating a force specifically to patrol the waters, harass people for identification, "Why are you out on the water today", and if they suspect people visited said ship charge them with some Trumped up charge.

I appreciate the idea but I don't think it'd be very feasible and I think the fallout could be toxic af.

That won't stop the South from creating laws punishing a woman if she (mysteriously) 'miscarries' in the eyes of the law.

And the current SCOTUS would uphold said laws or say "there's nothing originally in the Constitution to let us stop this"
