For the record, I do despise all billionaires. Every single last one. As far as I'm concerned, 100 million is about the point where one crosses the threshhold into "gluttonous, hoarding, economic tumor," as far as I'm concerned.

But even divorced from his wealth, I'd hate him. He runs his factories like sweatshops, cloyingly chases every single trend to try to look good, and pretends to be "ahead of the curve" societally when he's really just looking out for his own wallet. Even if he hadn't thrown his lot in with right wing fascists, he'd still be the living embodiment of "Pokemon-Go-To-The-Polls," wearing the skin of a pudgy white dude.

Meanwhile he's forming a weird cult of personality made up of what looks like mostly online shitposters. He's taking credit for development and inventions he was barely involved with, just slapping his name on the patent like that one kid in high school who basically just wrote his name on group assignments. He's throwing money around to squash actual tech innovations, just so they don't compete with him. Like Bezos he's turning the future of space travel into just another billionaire playground, like yachting. And he's 100% shitfaced drunk on his own legend. I guarantee he legit believes in his own bullshit legend, just like Trump, and it makes him all the more dangerous.

There's a laundry list of reasons to hate him, that go well beyond his billions. I genuinely hope this Twitter fiasco ruins him, but I'm not deluding myself. There's always a diamond studded golden parachute for these losers.
