Why? Because it has a unique watch movement wherein it is a hybrid of quartz and automatic/mechanical.

This results in a seconds hand that sweeps so smooth it floats on air.

You might like this guy's channel. The clockwork sounds, cleaning, and repair is really satisfying. Everything snaps in, clicks and whirls perfectly. It's neato. I think there's a youtube version with the long form videos.

I never liked watches or clocks where the seconds move constantly. No idea why, it just doesn't look right to me.
