Lokarin posted... One HD Honestly I don't fully understand the concept. If 10 is baseline (according to my limited understanding of the game/lore) 2d6 seems like it would skew the average stat you would have well below that. So rather than just simply being "not the hero" it's more likely your idea would leave a person genuinely crippled in day to day life. So yea I'd be scared of facing an entire lifetime of being handicapped, I mean I'm sure I could learn to get by depending on the severity but it's not something I would look forward to. ... TC's basically asking "what if you were even more feeble, uncoordinated, unhealthy, dumb, unperceptive, and unlikable than the average person" and trapped in a D&D world on top of that? So yeah...as Thomas Hobbs would say, life would be nasty, brutish, and short. ParanoidObsessive posted... It's literally called the Commoner class in older editions.Depends. If you can be chicken-infested and get two free feats off of the "Pathetic" flaw (super low starting stats), it could be a viable build... EDIT: Oh, forgot chicken-infested was itself a flaw. It's so powerful I had kinda mentally slotted it as a feat instead, lol ... Copied to Clipboard!

you could say that the world as viewed through the lens of a game is skewed towards appearing dangerous and full of combat since that's the primary focus of the game, whereas the "actual" world itself is not quite at that extreme, at least not everywhere. the mundane parts of existence are mostly ignored in the game. --- The truth basks in scrutiny. http://i.imgur.com/GMouTGs.jpg http://projecteuler.net/profile/Sahuagin.png ...
