Does spraying for roaches draw them in.

The property manager brought an exterminator around and the man actually looked for roaches. I smash any roach that comes in. If it runs, I look for it. I wait for it to crawl out again if that fails. How hard is it for a gamer to go 1on 1 with an insect?

Apparently some peeps have them. Just smash them! So the sprays they use at best take longer than smashing and will not work unless the bug wanders over. So lure. Now you are luring in bugs.

Uh they don't directly look for and spray the bugs. They look for infestation points and nests and spray them. Usually corners

i chuckled

but anyway, i just spray around the entrances to my house and any bug that wanders in dies near the entrance shortly afterward

Ignore the facts? Bug sprays have a chemical bait. Bait = Lure.

He spent 4 minutes looking under the kitchen sink, getting down on his haunches and shining a high intensity hand light around.

Sprays bait their targets. I am saying that luring them in may mean that sprayed apartments have roaches because they are lured in.

Depends

If your roaches are coming from a much larger actual infestation case nearby, then it doesn't really matter what you do. The roaches will come.

If some else sprays his door with lure and you do not, then you will be like me. The roaches go there.

The bait lures them out from hiding so the poison can kill them after.

Yes but bait lures lure them in from outside as well.

Wtf are you going on about? Insecticide and bait are two different treatment methods. Insecticide on its own doesn't lure them, but it can cause you to see more roaches because the roaches are:

  • Jarred by the experience and acting impulsively
  • Driven out of their normal habitat by the poison and forced to wander in search of new territory
  • Hungry once their original food sources are cut off and scavenging for new meals

Some people read and think. The only insecticide I know that does not have bait is diatematious earth that does not have bait added. Read the fine print because much of it has bait added.

The insecticide sold in retail and wholesale has bait added. Read the fine print.
