Don't do cleanses, they're nonsense and can be dangerous -- because sometimes "joke cleanses" can be especially fatal to certain people who may have dietary problems.
For example a woman died after attempting a "Soy Sauce cleanse", which was assumed to be a trolling cleanse for a joke.
This is because in normal people the only thing such a cleanse would do would make you just throw up, but for some people who have dietary issues all that awaits is a painful death, as the excess sodium causes your intestinal cell membranes to burst, and you literally drown in your own blood, and fluids.

Dont get why people fall for cleanses. If your body couldnt properly remove toxins, you would die.

That isn't it at all. Like they do suck shit, but microplastics are in everything because of the way plastic decays and that we spent decades pumping it out into the environment. They are literally in everything including the air you breathe. Hopefully, we can get a handle on the concentration and it ends up as nothing more than just another particulate that passes through your body.

so, yeah, the processing was just being lazy and careless. and im not saying the rest of your post is inaccurate or wrong, but in this particular case it sounds like folks just tossed entire packages into the processing line. i suspect that was done because it was faster (ie cheaper).
