I was playing xenogears and I remember I was stuck on one boss in the sewers.

there was a point where you couldnt really grind anymore and my only save state was outside this boss.

I finally beat him after hours of trying and getting good RNG. I didnt save it right away, my older brother came by and tapped the reset button with his toe trying to be funny. Well he reset the game on me before I could save. I was pretty devastated and absolutely pissed. I wailed on him pretty hard, he was older but not much bigger than me at the time either.

I have no idea how I would solve this as a parent. I feel like no matter what you do the older brother is going to resent the younger one for a long time.

As you get older, some things become less important and you learn to let things go

Pokmon go is definitely one of those things (and I still play)

It's not going to ruin their relationship through adulthood, but it will 100% remain a "that was a pretty fucked up thing you did when we were kids" thing

Needs more clarification on what the argument was about. I've had "arguments" with my brother that were completely one sided (him towards me) and when I retaliated he couldn't take the heat.

Really isn't anything you can do tbh other than hope they forgive them in time and make sure the younger one understand the gravity/permanence of what they've done.

This happened to me, my younger brother deliberately got rid of my Pokmon Red save because I kept beating him at Pokmon battling (he had Blue).

Never forgave him, and missed his wedding, and generally only see him at family functions -- years later, and he phoned and was literally begging to borrow $1000 so he'd be able to pay his mortgage, and with glee I told him I couldn't manage it (I had over $80,000 in savings at the time, and my own house).

I'm 30. I haven't forgiving my brothers and sister for deleting my shit. They will not laugh about this.
We've gone over this again and again bro, flushing the toilet after you poop isn't deleting your shit. You're just stinking up the house.

I can see that. At some point it's not even about what he did anymore but the affect that it had on your relationship over a long period of time. There was no resolution, he never made it right, and he just continued to be someone who wronged you and never gained your trust back. That's pretty much where I am with my sister.

When me and my brother where kids I had PKMN Red and my brother had Blue for our Gameboy Pockets.

I had long since beaten the game, but I was still doing things like collecting legendaries, collecting the rarer Pokmon, etc. and took a short hiatus from playing (maybe a month or two) and one day I boot it up my Gameboy and immediately noticed all of my good Pokmon where gone and all that was left where some crapmons in the PC.

Little brother had himself a party with the link cable. Cant remember if I beat his ass or not, but I remember I made him trade them all back.

My younger brother actively had a habit of deleting my saves in games, particularly 100% or completed files. No reason, he was just a little shit who knew his dad (my stepdad) wouldn't do shit to him and would turn it around and make it my fault somehow.

Lost my DKC series completion saves and my Pokemon Silver with completed Pokedex this way.

Maybe this is why you don't spend money on a mobile game?

Little Brother made a power move.
