Biden is too anti-weed and it would piss off various donors so it won't happen. Weed legalization is one of the only bipartisan political positions this country has with around 70% of the country give or take in favor of full legalization. Get these people out of our horrible prison system and help them find employment and housing. The only way you could possibly "defend" Biden on this (or any president ever) is that he is waiting to use it as a political card to maximize it's potential value to him. I kind of have a hard time looking at Biden and seeing him as anyone who looks at much beyond his own political career.
