Not gonna lie, I was hoping it would be lol. God of War games usually get pushed back to Spring because they're perfectionists and because they have a good track record, they usually are granted the request for more time and it gets released in Spring. Per David Jaffe.

I hope we don't get a rushed product because of this. Maybe this makes sense if they started working on it in 2018, that gives them 4 years of development time, with assets developed for the first game, it could have sped things up for Ragnarok.

Honestly a part of me was hoping Sony would get humbled this generation since they're going back to their early PS3-era smugness.

But Microsoft really needs to fix their project management issues. Seriously how can you own like 30% of all developers and not have any major games coming for a year?

Man, I was hoping to get a PS5 for this, but I don't know that I'll be able to.

Like I get it because the game is still releasing on both gens this is obviously the cheaper/safer option (rather than having to make separate PS4 and PS5 versions of each, and potentially making too much of one and not enough of the other), but really they should just be saying "fuck it" and making the Collector's and Jotnar Editions PS5-only.

Also I just noticed the Art Book is a digital item now, where even with Horizon it was physical.

I don't know what the pricing is going to be but if it's the same as the Collector's/Regalla Editions of Horizon were this is going to be a hard pass, even with the steelbook.

When's the pre-order going to be up you think? I assume the digital will come quickly...

Says the 15th, at least for digital. I can't see any retailer putting up physical copies before that.

Norse mythology/possible game spoilers:
