To go with something a teensy bit more niche than others are recommending: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koyaanisqatsi If you've never seen it, this movie is basically just a bigass music video set to high quality footage of stuff like... traffic and buildings being destroyed and landscapes and such. It's very mesmerizing, and uh... quite grim, but in a semi-abstract way. I think the film's only gotten better over the years. I remember watching it as a kid and having a sort of baby's first existential crisis, lol.
