It took a bit for Pet Sounds to be as popular as it became in the US. It was a commercial let down compared to their previous albums. It was very popular in UK though as I understand it. Very popular, but I don't liken it Srt. Pepper as many. Honestly, I do love some of the tracks on Pet Sounds. But it's not a record I'm just gonna drop a needle on and let it play.
