Love it. It's had some major downs, and episode ix left a bad taste in my mouth, but I'm still all about the setting and aesthetic and am down for basically any additional live action movies from it.

Haven't been compelled to watch any of the recent TV yet, though.

It's pretty much dead to me.

They had three awesome movies. Then they ran it into the ground with a bunch of retcons, unnecessary character deaths, and expansions to the universe which don't amount to anything.

I don't care about the helmeted bounty hunter with three scenes -- not compared to Luke, Han, or Leia.

It is star wars. That is my opinion of it.

When they're just space romps that aren't trying to overcomplicate things, its great. That said, it makes up, like, maybe 5/11 movies. Still I like it overall, and I'll still be hype to go see a new Star Wars movie when it comes out.

Think Empire is overrated.

It's basically an old marriage where the spark died out awhile ago, but getting divorced is too much effort.

Ambivalent. 3 great movies, a handful of good to great games, a few ok shows, and a lot of garbage.

If I had to vote in the poll I guess I'd say love more than hate.

I loved it for most of my life. Disney made me wish it would die.

Lately, I rewatched Episode 1-6, and started re reading some of the old EU/Legends books and my love for Star Wars has grown again.

I'm replaying kotor1/2 on switch as well.

I just have to pretend that most of what Disney has done is not canon. Although, I do like the High Republic.

It's a charming, accessible, unique sci fi franchise that has the most annoying, embarrassing fans ever. I like Star Wars but would never tell people I'm interested in it.

Kind of indifferent? Even when only 4 5 and 6 were present I thought they were interesting but wouldn't go out of my way to watch them, always preferred Star Trek

I'd say the first 6 are fine. 7 and Rogue were fine. I have zero interest in the shitshow that 8 and 9 sound like. Don't have any major interest in the stuff outside of that.

Obi-Wan is good and I'm curious to see if they can make a cool Andor show, which is by the way what we're supposedly getting, with the Ahsoka show, based on Rogue One. If they had never made Empire Strikes Back, would A New Hope / the original Star Wars be so popular? So, I would love it if they picked up the pieces of Rogue One here and did something with them, because it wasn't a bad movie. I don't want to dismiss it just because it isn't some theatrical release sequel movie. Andor!

I don't think Solo story was bad either, and large parts of it aged better than Rogue One

And I immensely enjoyed every sequel film. Way more than the PT movies tbh. Imagine growing up on a Star Wars that doesn't look terrible! The original had shoddy toys, and the prequels had shoddy movies. These kids nowadays got it alright.

Star Wars games, merchandise, books, attractions, homages, influence, etc is amazing

Like, its enjoyable, but I dont really notice when it's not around.

I mostly enjoy it. Every time something new is released I will at least try it.

The obi wan kenobi Series was great!

I never thought they would ever continue the franchise when I finished school. Since it had already been many years since Return of the Jedi. Thought it was a one and done deal, a trilogy alone.

Please let the Kotor game remake be good..

It's great just about once a decade. It quickly becomes oversaturated and quality can vary wildly. Keeping up with the plot nowadays is too mucb of a hassle.

I miss the amazing video games that used the universe as a backdrop and didn't strictly follow the lore, but sometimes added to it. Anything where you could play as General Grievous was cool.

I'm terminal.

No matter how bad anything that comes out gets, I still have a love for the universe deep within me.

I like Star Wars. I've never been in love with it or hated it.

Space wizards dueling with laser swords to the back drop of awesome music while space ships shoot lasers at each other makes for a fun couple of hours.

That said, its mostly just good spectacle. I've never been particularly invested in most of the stories or characters. The Clone Wars era (particularly ep. 3 and the clone wars cartoon, the other two prequel movies are middle of the road SW movies) is my favorite era of the franchise.

The Star Wars pen and paper RPGs made it good.

I'm pretty ambivalent about it. The Mandalorian was fun. I thought the OT was okay. My opinion was probably hampered by just how prevalent that movie is in pop culture. By the time I actually watched them, I'd more-or-less already seen them.

The world building doesn't do much for me either. For instance, every lightsaber battle I've seen was just really boring.

Yeah, Star Wars has been dead since 1980. Jedi had some good moments, but even the thought of the Ewoks keeps me away from the original trilogy.

Rogue One is the curious outlier to the parade of shitty Star Wars content of the last 35 years

Love the universe, hate most of the media.

The OT is great. The PT.....meh, though it has it's moments. The ST........ugh. I like Force Awakens but Last Jedi completely soured me on Star Wars. To the point where I didn't and still haven't watched Rise Of Skywalker (and judging by the reception, i'm glad). I also have no desire to watch Mandalorian, Obi-Wan etc etc because of Disney.

I did love the Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn though.

Always liked it, but only care about Jedis/Sith Lords mainly.

OT: good but flawed.
PT: ok but flawed.
ST: flawed and beyond stupid.
Live action shows: massively flawed.
Animated shows: didn't watch them all but ok.
Comics: unknown, never read.
Games: too varied, some good ones there plenty of bad, plenty I didn't play.

Only the ST is pure dog shit, everything else is good or just ok.

I loved the OT as a kid, but thanks to the progressively-offensive disappointment that was the PT, that love didn't continue to grow into adulthood. The SE edits to the OT finally got under my skin in the worst way with the inclusion of Vader's 'NOOOOOOO' in RotJ, so it's slightly deflating to be reminded that the only way I can still enjoy the OT is via my old DVDs. The ST was a hot mess, but at least had more enjoyable cherry-picked moments than the PT, and the PT had already been enough of a letdown that I didn't have any expectations left for the ST to ruin.

Mandalorian is probably the only new SW media since the OT that I've genuinely enjoyed. It started off pretty great, but I have to say that, while side-material characters like Ahsoka was fine for a bit, I'm reaaally finding it hard to give a shit about the continued incursion of other CW / Rebels / whatever characters, especially when Mando / BobF expects you to have prior knowledge of them.

Nowadays there are simply much, much better alternatives to spend my time and energy on than obsessing over the Star Wars franchise.

Im indifferent. Was never really into the OT as a kid. PT didnt interest me either. I watched them and just felt meh about it. I started to feel like I might get into SW with ST and liked Force Awakens. Was excited about the next one. But then TLJ killed off my interest pretty quickly. The only thing Ive actually enjoyed has been Mandalorian.

I tend to criticize things I like/love because I can see the flaws and can imagine improvements.

If I didn't care about it I wouldn't say anything about it, like for example Star Trek.

i miss good star wars games. i loved the og movies but that was a big part of it for me too. i wish i got more into the eu books and comics back in the day
