On topic, I think it's just the joy of defeating an enemy and the comfort people get from having an enemy who is ever-present and theoretically harmless by... fighting themselves. And I think there's a lot of truth to the saying 'we are our own worst enemy'. Life is just not in our favor sometimes, and it can be easier to just fight phantom battles, among other reasons. I want to just chalk it up to the lower rungs of society and the unlucky failings of humanity, and all but also People who are actively looking for someone to bully, and all the corruption in the world, and I mean Is it any surprise to learn that some people / a lot of people can't realize how easy it is not to be a piece of shit ...
