Animatirix is required watching if you're gonna watch the movies. Second Renaissance 1&2 puts the movies in an entirely different light when you learn ~~humans were the assholes who started the war and destroyed the world in the first place and the machines only wanted unity and peace~~. I can't believe they never even alluded to that in the movies, that's a pretty big plot point. --- "You go.
