Im not a food snob so I love it

I couldn't be friends with a person who doesn't like fast food tbh.

Hot Dog Heaven is my shit

It's nice once in a while but it often makes me feel gross after. I generally avoid it, maybe once a month.

Good in a pinch, but usually wrecks my bowels.

It's mostly fine if you generally choose things which aren't ridiculously unhealthy. Like you could theoretically live on a diet of particular Indian, Thai and Chinese food which usually include a lot of vegetables.

Love it No reason for me to hate it

I absolutely love it

And I know I shouldnt but I do. I think its the inner kid in me. I can still get a sense of nostalgia picking up some McNuggets lol reminds me of when my parents would take me after football/baseball practice

Don't see the point of fast food when it's cheaper and easier to get bags of frozen fries and just air fry them

Not fast and not cheap either these days

Expensive and I make better food at home but good from time to time or when Im too tired.

Its only cheaper in the grand scheme of things But normally, I just want a few fries. Not really a whole bag of frozen fries. But its not easier Not normally, anyway Fast food fries are already cooked by someone. All I have to do is pay for them. If I get frozen fries, I have to cook them I dont see how anyone can say cooking frozen fries is easier than fast food fries that are already cooked And thats assuming you just want fries

I remember when Arby's used to be the "expensive" one. Everyone else has caught up.

Good for a quick boost of calories when im too lazy or undershoot my daily requirement.

I dont understand how some of yall are determining what is fast food.

I though front and foremost, it requires an actual drive through and second of all, it needs primarily frozen or processed food, offering the lowest grade quality of meat that you usually cant even find in a grocery store.

Most Chinese/Thai/Indian or Qdoba like places, yes will tell you "10 minutes" after calling in an order but thats only because they have done all the prep work ahead of time. Most of these places chop, dice their fresh veggies. Buy good and marinate standard quality meat, make sauces and curry pastes ahead of time.

Where as true fast foods have everything shipped to them and they have pre shaped lowest of the low quality meat. You got places like Taco Bell giving you ground beef thats the same quality of beef that a gas station will give you to top their chili dogs with. But a place like Qdoba/Chipotle marinates and cooks fresh steaks 2-5 times daily and they are on the same level just because "that food fast"??

Some gourmet meals that cost you $50-100 dollars can be served fast.

its not my jam. i only eat it while traveling anymore and mostly regret it afterward.

IDK I looked up some definitions of Fast Food and most seem to define it as food which can be prepared and served quickly. Not too sure how long it takes to prepare curries at the start of the day, you have a good point. Though I think it's a bit absurd to define it by having a drive through point, that sounds very American to me.

Just had Taco Bell, normally I dont eat so late, and certainly not fast food, but I just spent 6 hours sweating my ass off at the Motley Crue concert, and I was starving.

I'm tired of people pretending taco bell isn't good

It's okay once in a while and tastes pretty good for how little it costs.

I'm not a huge fan of most of the big chains; Domino's and Subway being the only exceptions to come to mind. A lot of local places, or a few smaller chains (most notably Burgerfuel), are another matter.

People do that with many other fast food places. Im not saying that fast food places are the best food ever. But people complain like its the worst, even though its somehow good enough to still be doing well
