Sealed wine is always safe to drink. It'll just taste like vinegar the more it oxidizes.

Yeah this is what I would say too

probably some fermentation going on in the bag, but fermentation is literally what makes the wine in the first place

Probably a manufacturing issue, itll be safe but may suck.

As someone who works in a distillery; buy a second one, if it isnt swollen compare the flavors. If the swollen one tastes different, complain. Might get a $100 gift card out of it. Maybe more.

While it obviously varies, the average bottle of wine has 3-10g sugar total... unless you're buying a moscato or something, in which case of course there's sugar in a sugary varietal.

Hea talking about boxed wine... maybe its changed a lot in the last ten years, but when I bought that crap, that was a fair description of pretty much all of it.
