Gus, but that's mostly because we get to see him planning a lot of his schemes, and he reached his position from mostly nothing, as far as we know (I'm still waiting on a prequel).

with Stan, he seems more like a dude with maxed out renegade points.

IMO.

Homelander blew up a plane in episode 1 Theres literally no reason he couldnt do that or something similar to Stan if he really wanted.

uhhh why?

they assumed the senator died due to a plane incident in episode 1. The only person who knew was Sitwell. There is nothing stopping Homelander other than plot armour.

Hell he could just lose his mind and laser him. What is anyone going to do there isnt another Supe who can stop him, and the humans are even more helpless. Its kind of a huge point of the current season.
