Got a FB notification about memories with a few friends that happened today. One of them was this odd, long comment chain with a friend who passed away a while back due to lupus. I was never super close to her, and as sad as reading the conversation was, it kinda made me happy knowing I got to know a super cool person like her.

I was actually thinking about shutting my FB down a while back. I only really use it because it seems to be the go to for event invites with my family/friends. But I guess stuff like this is another reason to keep it.

I keep hard drives from the aughts just because of the yahoo messenger archives. I doubt what's in there can be recovered at this point, but I don't know if I want try and find out, either.

:(. Yeah.

Id be happy if people looked back on stuff I wrote and got a chuckle after I was gone. That's how Id prefer to live on after death. Just think of funny moments and be like "Lol, that dude was a trip".

I say that to say you're honoring/remembering them in a way I respect. Sometimes I avoid the stuff just to not be sad
