Ugh. Unless a game has a means of quickly skipping forward that many days (without consequences), no thanks.

Not sure if you even understand the point of the game. It is not something you speedrun.

It does, you can just immediately skip days by going right back to bed. The only real consequences are that you can't make any money in that time

The problem is that the game is built to make you feel like you have to speedrun it, with how fast the time passes. I never felt relaxed playing it.

So what, you have to do that 364 times if you missed one particular holiday or something? Pass.

No it doesn't. It is built to take your time. No rush, nothing you need to do immediately. Hell you could spend your entire first year just talking to people never growing a single crop or entering the mine if you wish with no consequences other than you just spent that time.

So install a time skip mod

Also pro tip the years aren't actually 365 days so it would take considerably less time to skip through than you're implying

There's also... Like no single thing worth skipping an entire year for. You're acting like the game has constant urgency to do stuff but it's the complete opposite of that lol. Most events are just gatherings of townsfolk where you can buy some holiday themed shit

Lmao holy shit you know nothing about this game.

No kidding? I only said like three times that I barely played it?

Are you sure you've actually been reading my posts? You say you have, but I'm finding that claim questionable at best.

Literally every farming simulator on the face of the planet works like this.

I've "literally" never played one before so there's no way I could have known that.

So install a time skip mod

If I'm going to go as far as figuring out how to mod a game, I'd rather just have one that slows down the timescale instead.

I only played it on the Switch when it was briefly letting people install+play the game for free though, so I'm guessing modding that wouldn't have been as simple as on PC (or as possible).
