The media has told the American people that abortion rights are very important and we should all be protesting in the streets. That sounds fine and dandy, but what about other issues that are actually far more important like climate change and plastic pollution? People are concerned about their right to an abortion, but have no qualms about living on a planet that is uninhabitable due to rising temperatures. We are also literally dying and destroying the environment with plastic pollution but most people don't care. --- Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, That struts and frets his hour upon the stage, And then is heard no more. There was a climate change protest in Sydney yesterday that went sideways. The news is focusing on one thing, but stuff like climate change is still very much active in the background. --- Eradicate but vindicate as "progress" creeps along.
