Looking for tips. Which skills and feats are useless? How should I earn credits? That kinda thing.

Depends, do you want to speed through the game? Then go Soldier/Guardian and focus on strength and you can just slice through any and everyone in record time.

Do you want to experience the story and characters? Then go Scout/Consular or Scout/Sentinel and focus on skill building.

Have the wookie kill Mission.

As for skills and feats.

No skill is particularly useless, though Awareness is the easiest to pawn off to your party. Stealth is very build centric so if you're not soloing/doing a stealth build its better to never waste time in it. I'd advise a single point into security so you can open locked doors early on without having to wail at locked doors. Demolitions is useful insofar as recovering mines so you can sell them. Requires a pretty big investment to start recovering them so if you want to just have that be a party member focus, thats fine.

The only 'essential' skill is Repair if you want to fully repair HK-47

As for feats, you'll want to decide between two-weapon and dueling. You can pick up the Implant Levels. The implants can boost up your attributes or give you regeneration so they're useful but not essential and 3 feats (unless you go scout, which gets them for free) is a big investment, especially for Scoundrel.

I'd say the Weapon Proficiency lines are fairly useless. the +1 attack is pitiful and the +2 damage isn't all that useful, since the game is fairly easy to begin with.

For credits, just sell everything to the dude above Yavin (you should have the DLC unless you're playing it on OG XBOX)

If you go dark side and have Bastilla join with you at the Rakatan Temple, you can go back to the Ebon Hawk and with the right dialogue choices, have Zalbaar kill Mission

On Nar Shaddaa, if you are playing as a Dark Side character, Kreia will revive Hanharr and he becomes a member of the party, instead of Mira (the light side alternative)

You're capped at 20 levels, most people recommend not leveling past 4 on Taris that way you can have 16 levels as a jedi. But I've seen people beat Taris at level 2, it's just a pain in the ass and takes luck/a lot of save loading.

I've never really used a guide for Kotor outside of puzzles or side quests. As you play through the game, you might notice dialogue options that pop up for characters with high repair, high charisma, high strength, high repair skills, or high stealth. So they really give you a reason, especially in 2, to replay the game with different builds to experience all of the possibilities in the story

This. Jedi Guardian w/ speed, Master Flurry and double-bladed/dual lightsabers is a busted combo

Strength is useless after you get the finesse perk

Taris is 100% easily beatable at level 2. Your squadmates can easily carry you. Definitely do that, so you can maximize your Jedi levels on the MC

Not really, strength still adds damage bonuses on top of the attack bonus

I've decided to go for a trash Scoundrel/Consular build to exploit stuns and sneak attacks, kinda like a DnD Trickster.

I do not expect it to work until mid game.
