Lets say the GOP actually loses Senate seats, and breaks just about even in the House (who cares about the House honestly) how laughable would that be?

History says that the opposition party always cleans up big time in the midtermsWouldnt you laugh your ass off if The SCOTUS partisanship ruined the midterms for them?

This is always such disingenuous bullshit. Like FFS dude it's not that. People have no hope or faith that the dems will do anything to make things better. Because they don't make things better. They were given the house, senate, and presidency and have accomplished literally fuck all. President Obama entered the White House with his party touting a 60 seat majority in the Senate and 257 seat majority in the House. What did they do with it? Passed what is, in essence, a Republican healthcare plan. People have no hope, so they'll stay fucking home.
Moderates and Centrists don't care about anything but making money so they'll vote based on their taxes, inflation, and gas prices. They'll piss away everyone else's rights to put more money in their pocket book.

A more charitable interpretation is that people who would otherwise vote for Democrats will stay home owing to dissatisfaction with their performance.

No need to be rude, and Im sorry if I came off as such. Im not saying they have done anything, because youre right, they havent.

But when the alternative are literal fascists, I cant help but think that alone will spur people to vote blue specifically because it is a party that -isnt- Republican.

I tend to agree, I'm not a dem, I'm a socialist, but I show up every election and vote dem as a form of harm reduction for my friends who are minorities or LGBTQ.
