This. I had actually assumed Emilio was Charlie's half brother because of the different last names

In my head, I always confuse his real name with Miguel Sanchez, Lionel Hutz's alias.

Yeah was just reading their wiki. Martin Sheen was born 7th son to Spanish and Irish Immigrants. Changed his name to have an easier time pursing acting since he already looked anglo. Then Charlie took his dad new last name and used the name people used to call him as a kid. None of them ever changed it officially. Theyre purely stage names.

Kinda always thought this was common knowledge. Maybe though its just because I was a fan of Emilio and Charlie.

Jamie Foxx's daughter did the same thing, and goes by Corinne Foxx as her stage name, even though their real last name is Bishop (Jamie Foxx is Eric Marlon Bishop).
