They made me do it like 10 years ago. Used to be Relient K Monkey Fan. They didn't let me pick a new name. I clicked forward through the menu and this was automatically the new username. Not sure what happened.

Why on earth would they make people go back to some early 2000s underscore bullshit?

I think the deal back then was you'd lose your space if you didn't log in for like 30 days or something. I got this message too though because my contributor name is still Legato and Vash.
