Ah, dang. Well, I didn't list any Rogue-lites (the closest would be Recettear due to it having randomized level layouts in the dungeons but it really isn't something that makes sense to confuse with a rogue-lite as it's very different overall) but there were puzzle games. That said if you're not into puzzles I don't know if you would want to follow through with Parabox. Yeah it's really good, but it's very much a "puzzle player's puzzle game" in that it very quickly ramps into absurdity. For instance, I've been playing through it and despite not being halfway through it I've already gotten Recurse, for looping the level into itself ad-infinitum, Push Against Yourself, for being stuck against myself when trying to move, and Infinity, for causing a bit of a whoopsie and making a paradox (I pushed the level outside of itself). Don't get me wrong, Baba Is You and Patrick's Parabox are amazing games but they are very much in the camp of making you cry with their puzzles if you aren't using a guide.

Puzzle Agent, however, is probably fine. It's very much akin to Layton and is more about giving an atmosphere than causing you to start crying uncontrollably after the game causes you to rethink what exactly the concept of a game is. I didn't list it but Puzzle Agent 2 is also a good one if you like the first. Unlike with Sherlock Holmes there isn't a notable drop (if you do like the two I mentioned *do not* bother with the "Sherlock Holmes Chapter One" game as it's nowhere near the same level), I just didn't even think of listing it as they are somewhat linked in my mind.

Though RIP about The Last Remnant. I looked into it and apparently they made a Remastered version in Unreal 4 that is PS4/Switch exclusive and that's why it's not on Steam. I guess my recommendation switches over to that if you have either system though without the Steam deals it's a bit RIP. Presumably the fixes they had for the PC version are in the Remastered version so it's actually playable, unlike the 360 version (it had a lot of glitches + slowdown to the point that it was unbearable to actually play).

I got that a couple months ago myself. After 200 hours in that game I had to put it down and I still get the itch to play it lol. I cant wait for whatever dlc they release.

I just realised I too have them as a friend. I thought I recognised the user name lol.

I'm not saying they have tried to cheat anyone like Aki Sora did. If you want to put your wishlist out there more than 3 times per topic then add it to your sig and contribute to the conversations. Every time you post your wishlist will be visible and you're actively contributing to the topic instead of only posting your wishlist.
