Just me and her

I went to Cheddar's with my girlfriend in October of last year, and we ordered alcohol -- they forgot to bring it out and did not give our drinks to us until after our meals were brought.

The fuck is the point of ordering alcohol if it just gets absorbed by my dinner? The whole point was to enjoy it before filling up my stomach.

Stupid Cheddars.

Well, we were bothered by it because it was the day we went to the Texas State Fair. We were out all day in the October Texas heat - and did not eat until we went to Cheddars around 6pm that day.

And we wanted a drink to make the edges round and enjoy ourselves for a bit before eating.

I remember it moreso because it was the day of the Fair.
