Their training must have consisted of just standing around and hoping a gunman will tucker himself out with all the murdering. Every single person in that department should have been fired weeks ago.

At this point, you'd have to assume they were cheering on the shooter from the complete ineptitude on display.

Their sheepdog training only ever went over how they should maul their sheep. It didn't include a damn thing on what to do when a wolf entered the pen.

The Uvalde police needs a thorough replacing starting with the cops who failed their duty to save lives.

I hate how they keep patting themselves on the back for saving the other kids in the rest of the school. If you take them by their own logic, then they used the kids in the 1 classroom as sacrificial lambs to contain the shooter

They were probably freaking out and figuring out what to do about the kid(s) they just shot.

I hope this at least opens some eyes as to what police actually are and do.

I can't believe that they look more and more pathetic every day.

At this point I'd believe if they shot one of the kids and are covering that up.

The kids in the school are braver than the cops.

Oh, right. I just remembered that the gunman exchanged fire several times with the police from the 40 to 50 minute time mark. I'm thinking that they just wanted to wait him out and when they figured he was out of ammo they finally went in.

In the time since this school shooting, I've seen several cases in which police action prevented mass shootings before they happened. Not sure this is the best argument.

My argument is not that police never do anything good. It's that they're not required to and that's not really what they're for.

Imagine if thr school gets bulldozed and then years from now we finally get to see the footage and there is something we'd like to investigate on there. But the evidence will be gone

It results from a police statement saying that they didn't shoot any kids. It's like, I didn't think you did before, but now I kinda think you might have.

That plus pretty much every statement Uvalde police putting out being shown to be a lie.

I really want the opinion of other cops and republicans wholl defend cops no matter what

From the cops themselves. Nobody was really talking about the theory until the cops made a weird statement. They said "we can be sure that every fatality victim was shot by the shooter"

Until that was said, everyone was assuming that already. So them saying it for no reason was very suspicious

CE's resident cop laughed it off and told everyone to "stay mad" about the cop's inaction, then proceeded to get 2 accounts banned.

they probably accidentally shot a kid within the first few minutes, freaked out, and then let the shooter to go on rampage so they can blame the accident on him.
