So I've had the urge to play through my all time favorite JRPG recently. So I dusted off my em- er I mean my trusty ol' PS1 to start a brand new playthrough. The last time I've played through WA2 was.....5 years ago I think? Anyway I'm now 4 hours in at the Telepath Tower and I'm having a blast. The music instantly brought me back to when I first played WA2 way back when. Now I'm thinking of maybe doing a 100% run, or at the very least an "all optional bosses beaten" run. I remember some of the optional bosses being quite a challenge, especially that ass hat Ragu O Ragla.

The MC's name is Ashley. The first time I learned Ashley could be a dude's name as well.

10 hour update. Made some pretty good progress, Ashley awakened his Knight Blazer transformation, met Liz and Ard, made the ARMs HQ flyable, Tim became the Pillar and unlocked the Combine force ability, ARMs HQ was attacked by Odessa, Ashley almost blew up with an explosive toad, and Tim has officially joined the team. Currently at the start of the infiltration of Odessa's airship. 10 hours in and I've already fought 16(?) bosses. Forgot how many bosses (not counting super bosses) were in this game, and I'm still only on disc 1 lol. Also as a note, I forgot how poorly localized WA2 was. The whole section with Liz and Ard really accentuates that fact. Also speaking of Liz and Ard, god do I love their theme song so much.

I'm not sure who will be my final party, whoever they are, I'll be using them for a victory lap around the game taking on all the super bosses before the end lol.

I would say the only boss theme above theirs is Lord Blazer's
