You're a pro athlete entering free agency, and are looking for a nice payday. However, after extensive searching, only two cities are offering you a contract: Cleveland and Detroit. So, those are your options. Get a few million bucks, but you're stuck for a few seasons in Cleveland or Detroit. Which do you do? And assume you made some bad financial decisions, so retirement is not an option if you want to have any noticeable amounts of money. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. ...
