The former chose the blocking route in response to my volunteering a discussion to make peace. The latter simply refuses to give open and honest answers. It's unfortunate that they've chosen those routes. But on the flipside, I have made friends with two users who had the wrong impression of me; they saw inaccurate posts about me by a user who had me blocked; due to the nature of the block system, I was unable to dispel said lies as I wasn't even made aware that they were being spread. So they grow and grow, and more and more users see them because there's no way for me to see that they're being spread. But when I was able to discuss this with two users, both of them understood where I was coming from and immediately became positive. So it is possible and I am certainly encouraged! I had a fun yugioh deck in early days that revolved around Bad Reaction to Simochi (continuous trap card - when your opponent would gain life points, they take that damage instead) and combine it with shit like Upstart Goblin (you draw a card or two; your opponent gains 1000 LP) or Rain of Mercy (both players gain 1000 LP) It was really fun at the time. Combined it with some stall cards like Swords of Revealing Light and other things like that that prevented attacking. Objective people with whom I would normally have random conversations suddenly have these preconceived notions of me; they believe I'm pushing some sort of agenda, when in reality, I'm just posting random stuff in random topics about random things. These agendas directly lead to a reduction in my ability to nonchalantly post, as is the point of this board... which is, to not take things seriously.
