I finally downloaded Multiversus last night, it is really fun so far, even though I feel like I am still in just the mashing buttons phase and am not really sure how to play any of the characters. I really hope Smash takes a lesson for their next game on how to run online modes. Multiverses is full of the modern Battle Pass stuff and micro transactions, but damn this is soooo much better than what we got for Ultimate. There is a real sense of progression for each character, decent unlockables, a good ranked mode. And then the basic stuff like being able to form a party for 2 vs. 2 w/ your friends, options to rematch for best of 3, super easy social features to track everyone you play and look at their career stats, being able to change your character and keep the same opponent. Ultimate blows Multiversus out of the water in terms of gameplay, but I still cannot wrap my head around how crappy and unrewarding the Ultimate online system is, and I am not even talking about net code lol --- Hello world! ... I've been watching a lot of Sean lately, my favorite Falcon player thus far. He's been grinding a ton so there are a lot of random sets to learn from. One thing I like in particular is his use of up tilt in neutral, normally considered a lackluster option. He doesn't overuse it or anything, just sprinkles it in as a mix up as a bait or to stuff out approaches. --- (... D-Do I really inspire this sort of frothing desire from the female masses?) ... I was playing against a Luigi named "do nothing" in one of the 1v1 tournies so I played along and just set my controller down. I realized too late that he was putting up his shield every so often to avoid being kicked and banned for doing nothing. I wasn't even aware that was a thing lol --- (... I get it rarely because of FFA tournies where I target one of the players a lot like upB spamming Ike.
