Im making my husband lobster rolls (he requested them) and probably just going to hang out with our daughter at the community pool.

Geez. Sorry your dad sucks. If it makes you feel a bit better my husband never met his bio dad because he was a gang member and his mom hid the pregnancy from him. His dad went to prison and was stabbed to death when my husband was 18. And its made him a better dad if anything because he is breaking that cycle.

My father in law passed away yesterday (which happened to be my birthday), so its a rather somber mood around here. I doubt there will be much in the way of celebrating.

I might get drunk later. Maybe play Quacks with my kiddos.

Not doing lobster rolls since Im not a big lobster person lol, but I picked up some ground beef yesterday so I can grill some burgers later for the kiddos. Likely doing the same with just hanging out at our community pool today. My daughter has been doing swimming lessons this year and she loves staying on the shallow end and practicing without floaties now.

Thanks Cleo! I am going to pick up my kids in about an hour and I have them today and tonight. Not my kid weekend but I always get them on Father's Day. Not sure what I'm doing yet. I am admittedly not in the best shape today after having been a groomsman in a wedding yesterday and was going from 10 AM until midnight lol

As a human who doesn't want, nor never will have kids, this hokiday is wasted on me, haha.

Got some gifts from the kids, and I'll probably end up doing chores around the house while drinking brews the wife got for me.

Been a good day, mostly relaxing with the family. Going to play some Mario Strikers, Mario Superstars and Mario Kart later with my wife and eldest son, will give my youngest his toy controller so he can get involved.

Received a lovely new watch from my boys courtesy of their mother and a personalised book with lovely messaging in it about how much my sons love me. Some nice, well made personal father's day pictures of them from their time in nursery and school too.
