I recently decided to get into it. It seems to have an update every.single.damn.day... is that normal?

Also any tips for a new guy?

I have a couple thousand hours, but I'm unranked since I don't play ranked.

It DOES update almost every day because they're always fixing typos and such on their million items in every possible languge

Anyways, for tips - just play like shit, it's funny!

ok ok ok, Every hero plays pretty differently and there genuinely is a hero for everyone! I personally would recommend Warlock as a starter, but I recommend playing every hero a few times so you can learn what 'not' to do.

The main mechanic that trips new players up is Visibility - the fog of war is incredibly harsh which is why players buy wards... so they can see the enemy.

Another tip is always be last-hitting; only the last hit on a monster grants gold. Now, you might think that if you are playing a support that you'd be stealing gold from your teammate who needs it more... but that's a high-level mentality, at low levels your partner should just "git gud" so you aren't able to steal that gold.

My wife is from Korea so she got me playing Mobile Legends since she's addicted to it. But thats like training wheels of a Moba, thus the reason I looked into Dota 2.
