Dunno The first one focuses on the bride being a buzz saw that mows through everyone on her way to get revenge. Theres a ton of action in it (the Copperhead fight, Ishiis rise to power, the Crazy 88 fight, the Gogo fight, the Ishii fight). The second one tones the action down a lot. Its basically the Bride getting shot, then later her fight with Elle. Most of the movie focuses on the bride buried, the flashback, and her meeting with Bill. They're both good movies, but theyre also differently paced movies, for sure. Yeah, I was the same when I first watched them. Volume 2 felt like a letdown. Since then, Ive seen them both a few times, and while I still enjoy Volume 1 more, Volume 2 is better for me one rewatches because my expectations are set.
