anyone ever go to certain antique shops where besides them having old junk tools from farmers etc, you would at least find goodies like old 1970s to 1980s comic books, still carded Toybiz action figures and the really old 12 inch 1960s GI Joes that are displayed in glass counters?

i used to look for vintage shit at thrift shops. got a few cool things including:

An oldschool all-glass chess board from a now-defunct local plumbing company. looks like it was an employee gift for years of service. it's really nice.

vintage sports gear, albeit really beat up

this one antique shop that i go to once in awhile, its located in the downtown area and the store is pretty big on the inside where its like a maze trying to get through and trying to find some good stuff.

One back area in the antique shop the back wall is full of really old rusty old farmer stuff like who would really want that crap anyway?

then in one corner from what i saw one time there was a few old Toybiz X-Men figures that were still in the cards
