Granted, it was a completely free upgrade for me, so I can't complain too much, but I definitely wouldn't pay the same amount for this as I would game pass. The selection of PS1 titles in particular is pitiful.

Also, jumping flash is still the best game ever

i scanned the game libraries earlier today. the ps4 games honestly arent bad but if you arent into big aaa games i wouldnt say its worth it because that is the brunt

the classics library is pathetic. a lot of them require the most expensive version of the service but even with it theres very few ps1 games and the ps3 library is more substantial but still not great, again, if you dont like big name western aaa stuff which was NOT the ps3's forte.

The PS3/PS4/PS5 selections are pretty good. Definitely on par or better than whats on GP.

PS1/PS2 is pretty weak but Im sure it will get better over time.

Because they're on PS3. It's such a mixed pile of inconvenience between both PS3 and PS5 that you literally need both consoles hooked up to get the best of both worlds which if you do is kind of superb , however the ideal situation is to have everything on just one console like the Series X more or less supports.

Should be able to download anything that isn't a PS3 game (unless there is a rare exception I'm not familiar with). PS3 games can only be streamed.

I enjoy it. And just because it's not as big or "good" as gamepass is like saying I'm displeased that my Coke is not Pepsi; it's not entirely the same when you factor in total ownership of each system. Because that's most people's argument: it's not Gamepass. Well it ain' Switch pass either.

The "GamePass is better" argument is also stupid because it's not like anyone is trying to say otherwise.

We all know Sony can't afford to do with this what Microsoft is doing with GamePass. If Sony started doing stuff like putting Forbidden West and Ragnarok on PS+ Extra/Premium Day 1 they'd cease to exist as a company.
