Those are weird faces but anyway this moment always bothered me I get that Anakin is a psychopath. But what bothers me is that Padme isn't disgusted by his confession. It implies she herself is a racist too. The movie wants us to sympathize with her and see her as woman in a tragic situation but this scene really shows Padme was a monster herself ... Padme falling for Anakin after he killed the sand people is whats really fucked up. Anakin killed them because his mother died in his arms and they tortured her, so his rage here was actually understandable and NOT dark side. He also feels regret after when he tells Padme showing he feels atleast some remorse. Padme just seems like oh poor you killing off some pests, her reaction shows she is not bothered these people were killed.
