I've seen covid patients everyday for 2 years straight, and plenty that had covid that wasn't diagnosed until later during the hospitalization, so I didn't have protective equipment. My nephew, my parents and my brother all caught covid last week from the same event, which I was at, but I didn't get it. I'm legitimately wondering if I have some kind of resistant genetic mutation.

I'm going to guess she's probably taken a lot of COVID tests that say otherwise.

Have you been tested to see if you have had it and just dont show symptoms?

A few months ago I did an antibody assay as part of a study my hospital did. I didn't have the antibodies you would make if you had a natural infection, but I had a huge amount of anti-spike antibody from the vaccine.

I dodged it for the whole pandemic and finally caught it a couple weeks ago.

Vaccinated and boosted so just had like 3 days of feeling like death followed by a week of producing more solid snot than I thought physically possible, went through like two big new boxes of Kleenex

I've been around a lot of people who've had it and still haven't had it, that I know of. I have allergic rhinitis and asthma, so I'm frequently stuffy-nosed or having some kind of breathing problem; I wouldn't rule out of having had an asymptomatic or extremely mild case at some point.

I have not had as far as I know. Likely one of the asymptomatic ones.

It kind of disappointed me too.

I thought they were some tough ole boys but they ended up catching it anyway and I'm a little more weaker than them.

You probably did at some point. Just little to no symptoms. Vaccine could have helped. I wouldn't be surprised if I got it already too. I wear masks everywhere and got no covid symptoms.

I'm guessing you've had enough low dose exposure to build up your immunity, without ever having enough to overcome it and get you sick.

You probably have a strong immune system from being around sick people all of the time.

My old physician never got covid either and he was around people with it all of the time in 2020-2021

I could be largely asymptomatic but I think I haven't gotten it yet either. Though I have developed a random cough that has been around for quite a few months, so maybe.

I work in a nursing home and I just finally got it 3 weeks ago. But I got it from my roommate not work

Maybe you have a natural genetic immunity. We need to send you to a lab and have you experimented on and dissected to see why you cannot even be infected by Covid and use the results to develop a retroviral gene therapy to impart that immunity to the rest of the world.

Me and my toddler son did not get it when wife had it although we slept in same bed. We PCR tested throughout her infection and always came out negative. I have been exposed at work(nurse) as well and worked COVID shifts but nada

I've had it once. I caught it from my wife. We're both vaccinated so it only sucked for a couple days thankfully.
