To a degree, kinda - but no matter how you slice it, you're gonna look like a bitch and you need to accept that.

Like if you're venting online to relieve stress from other factors, that's one thing. It's silly, and depending on how petty you're being it could attract more derision for the way you're going about it, but stress gets to us all and we all need an outlet. It's understandable - reasonable, even - that someone would cut loose and be a bit of a bitch under those circumstances.

If you started a fight online, saw the tide shift against you and then lashed out at everyone as a retaliatory measure, there's no excuse. Sometimes you just need to cop your lumps and be better. This meltdown is more common imo, and it's much more damaging because it involves doubling down on an unpopular or incorrect opinion and denying whatever way out that people are offering as a counterpoint. Or denying reality, for that matter.

To a degree, yes. There can be mitigating factors that explain a person's lack of civility and justify why they had that moment of weakness. The caveat is that no matter what, you're gonna look like a bitch and you've gotta cop it on the chin to get past it. And a lot of the time? It really is just rooted in being a stubborn bitch about something stupid. I've done it. Plenty of other CEmen have done it. Own it, grow from it and move forward.

On an unrelated note, I'm pretty inebriated rn so I'm sorry if this post is fucking nonsense.

Yes

Being angry and anonymous is probably a great way to get it all out.

Assuming anonymous anyway
